I'm on the hunt for a cake baker who can make the "Mad Hatter" style cake that we want decorated with a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme.So I talk to this lady and she is like "yea I can do what you want, blah blah blah." I get all committed and excited because she feeds me with ideas. We schedule a tasting and meeting and....
She completely changes! SHE actually said to me "I really don't want to make this cake!" Then started giving me other options that she would like better.
WHAT!
Who expects someone to pay for a cake they don't even want or like? Really? I am worried over how many "little girl's" weddings she has ruined by not giving them what they want.

Hi Susie,
Saw that you have a blog now. Maybe she said that because she's not comfortable with a corpse cake... ya know? It is a particular taste and weddings are supposed to be a tad bit sacred and holy. I dunno but it makes sense to me. You may have to find someone who is a lot more laid back.

Honestly the corpse couple or Jack and Sally was her idea. We decided on Jack and Sally afterwards. I'm just glad we found someone who will do it.
Don't beieve everything you read! What was said was I don't do Red or black icing, colors you requested, not that I wouldn't do the cake! And no Susn and Toy it was your idea for the cake not mine. I am so glad you found someone who would do your cake the way you wanted it TOO!
